Travefy pricing starts at $39 a month for the Core plan billed annually, which bundles the itinerary and proposal builder, a CRM with forms and automations, invoicing and commission tracking, a website builder and the mobile apps. Premium is $59 a month billed annually and adds priority chat, phone support via call back, premium onboarding, a custom domain and business email hosting. Agencies pay $20 a month for each additional advisor on annual Core, or $39 a month on Premium. There is also a $25 a month New Travel Agent Program for advisors entering the industry. Every figure here came off Travefy's own pricing page in August 2026.

That is the answer. The rest of this piece is the part the pricing page does not tell you: how those numbers compare to Travel Joy and the AXUS Travel App, which of the three is actually cheaper for the way you work, and the two billing terms that make a headline price misleading in both directions.

Travefy pricing plans in full

Plan Published price What is included Additional seats
Core $39 a month billed annually Itinerary and proposal builder, CRM with forms and automations, website and landing page builder, invoicing and commission tracking, mobile apps, email integration, AI content import, live chat support $20 a month each on annual Core
Premium $59 a month billed annually Everything in Core, plus priority chat support, phone support via call back, premium onboarding, a custom domain and business email hosting $39 a month each
Agency From $20 a month per additional seat Core or Premium tools for each agent, commission and revenue reporting, a shared template and content library, centralized supplier management, agent onboarding and team controls, monthly agency reporting, a dedicated account manager, CRM API access Priced per seat on top of the base plan
New Travel Agent Program $25 a month A starter package aimed at advisors entering the industry Not a team tier

The first thing to notice is that Core is not a stripped tier. Commission tracking, invoicing and the website builder are all in it, which is unusual: most products in this market treat commission reporting as the upsell. What Premium buys is support and presentation, not capability. If you have never once wanted to talk to a human at a software vendor, the $20 a month gap is hard to justify.

The second is the seat structure, and it is the reason Travefy tends to win agency comparisons on price. A $20 additional seat against a $39 base plan means the marginal advisor costs about half of the first one. Nearly every competitor charges close to a full seat for every person.

Travefy pricing vs Travel Joy and AXUS

These three are the products a US leisure advisor is realistically choosing between, and they are priced on different logic. Travefy prices the account and discounts seats. AXUS prices the seat. Travel Joy prices the plan and then caps what you can do on the cheap one.

Product Entry price Full working price The catch
Travefy Core $39 a month billed annually $39 a month, no usage caps published The annual price is the advertised one. A monthly option exists but is not the headline
Travel Joy Starter $19 a month $39 a month on Pro, or $32 billed annually Starter is capped at 12 trips a year. A full-time advisor passes that by spring
AXUS Travel App $329 per seat per year $35 per seat per month if you pay monthly Annual saves 21 percent, so monthly billing costs about $91 more a year per seat
Tern $35 per seat per month on quarterly or annual $49 per seat per month on monthly billing Quarterly costs the same per seat as annual, which is rare and worth taking

The Travel Joy trip cap is the single most misleading number in the category. Nineteen dollars is genuinely the cheapest CRM an advisor can buy, right up until the thirteenth closed trip of the year, at which point the comparison becomes $39 against $39 and Travefy is including a website builder and commission tracking in that. If you close more than one trip a month, price Travel Joy at Pro and ignore the Starter figure entirely.

AXUS goes the other way. Its headline is annual and therefore looks larger, but $329 a seat a year works out to about $27.42 a month, which is the cheapest full seat on this table. The 14-day trial runs without a card, so the cost of finding out is zero.

What Travefy costs an agency, per seat

Solo pricing tells you almost nothing about agency pricing. Here is the same six-advisor agency priced on each platform's published annual terms.

Platform, six advisors, annual billing How the price is built Annual cost
Travefy Core One Core plan at $39 a month plus five seats at $20 a month $1,668
AXUS Travel App Six seats at $329 a year $1,974
Tern, annual Six seats at $35 a month $2,520
Travefy Premium One Premium plan at $59 a month plus five seats at $39 a month $3,048

An $1,380 spread between the top and bottom rows, for six people doing the same job with broadly the same features. None of that gap is a capability difference. It is entirely how each vendor structures the second through sixth seat, which is why the seat line, not the headline, is the number to negotiate on.

Two caveats. Tern publishes agency tiers for 3 to 24, 25 to 99, 100 to 499 and 500-plus advisors without listing what they cost, so a six-person agency should ask rather than assume the solo rate holds. And Travel Joy prices team members separately from the advisor seat, which is why it is absent from this table: the honest move is to request the team quote rather than multiply a solo price and publish a number nobody verified.

Is Travefy worth it if your host agency includes software?

This is the question that decides the purchase for most US advisors, and it is the one comparison articles skip. Host agencies compete on their tech stack now. Fora, for example, includes its booking portal, rate comparison, client management, itinerary building, invoicing and an AI assistant in a membership costing $299 a year or $99 a quarter, with no additional software fees and no booking minimums. Most hosts bundle some equivalent.

So the real comparison for a hosted advisor is not Travefy against Travel Joy. It is Travefy against the itinerary tool you are already paying for. Buying Travefy on top of a host portal is a defensible decision when the proposal is your selling document and you want it materially better than the house template, because that document is what closes a $12,000 trip. It is not a defensible decision if you have never opened the host builder to see what it does.

Fifteen minutes settles it. Open your host's inclusion list, mark which of the five stack categories it already covers, then price only the gaps. Advisors who skip that step routinely run two CRMs, and the cost of a redundant subscription set at $20 to $70 a tool a month is $1,000 or more a year.

What none of these tools do

Every product on this page is a presentation and administration layer. They store the client, format the proposal, collect the payment and track the commission. Not one of them decides what belongs on day three of a nine-day Portugal trip for a couple with a $6,000 budget, and that decision is where an advisor's evenings actually go.

That gap is worth pricing separately, because it is the one that caps how many clients you can carry. A faster proposal template does not help if the bottleneck is the four hours of research that precede it. This is the job travel agent software buyers most often misdiagnose: they buy a second builder when the problem was never presentation.

Drafting tools address it from the other end. You describe the client and the trip in a sentence and get back a complete day-by-day plan with morning, afternoon and evening blocks, priced against the budget you set and sequenced so the travel times work, then you cut what does not suit the client and ask for any day to be written again. What you carry into Travefy or your host portal is an edited draft rather than a blank template. TripAgent.ai does that for $19 a month with a free plan to try it on, and there is a planner at the top of this page if you want to hand it a real brief before deciding anything.

The same logic applies further up the funnel too. The intake call where you find out the trip is actually an anniversary, that one traveler will not fly overnight, and that the stated budget excludes flights, is the input everything else depends on, and advisors who run it in an unstructured phone call rebuild the itinerary twice. Structured client discovery and intake before the quote is written removes more rework than any template does. Our guide to AI for travel agents covers how the drafting step fits alongside the CRM you already run, and travel agency software covers the same question at agency scale.

Frequently asked questions about Travefy pricing

How much does Travefy cost per month?

Travefy Core is $39 a month billed annually and Premium is $59 a month billed annually. A monthly billing option is available on Core but is not the advertised price. Additional agency seats are $20 a month on annual Core and $39 a month on Premium, and there is a $25 a month New Travel Agent Program for advisors just entering the industry. All figures are from Travefy's published pricing as of August 2026.

What is the difference between Travefy Core and Premium?

Support and presentation, not features. Core already includes the itinerary and proposal builder, CRM, invoicing, commission tracking, website builder, mobile apps and AI content import. Premium adds priority chat support, phone support via call back, premium onboarding, a custom domain and business email hosting. If you do not need phone support or a custom domain, the extra $20 a month buys nothing you will use.

Is Travefy cheaper than Travel Joy?

At the working price, yes, and by more than the headlines suggest. Travel Joy Starter is $19 a month but caps you at 12 trips a year; a full-time advisor is really on Pro at $39 a month, or $32 billed annually. Travefy Core is $39 and includes commission tracking, invoicing and a website builder in that. On a single seat the two are close; across an agency Travefy's $20 additional seat opens a clear gap.

Does Travefy have a free plan?

Travefy does not publish a permanently free tier. Its cheapest published entry point is the $25 a month New Travel Agent Program. Among the alternatives, AXUS Travel App offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, and Tern offers a free trial. If a free plan is the requirement, that is worth checking against each vendor directly, since trial terms in this category change more often than prices do.

How much do travel agents spend on software in total?

Individual tools in this category run roughly $20 to $70 a month each, so a set of four or five adds $1,000 or more a year to the cost of doing business. A hosted advisor who checks their membership inclusions first usually gets there for a few hundred: the host membership plus one builder. The advisors spending the most are generally the ones who bought each tool separately without checking what overlapped.
