TripAgent.ai is an AI travel agent. We collect the account details you give us, the trip details and preferences you share, the booking and travel information needed to arrange your trip, and basic analytics and log data, so we can run the service and improve it. We use your information only to plan your trip, arrange bookings and operate the product. We never sell your data, and payment is handled by trusted third-party providers.

The trip details you share

To plan and book your trip, TripAgent.ai needs what you tell it: your destinations, dates, budget, travel preferences and any traveler details required to complete a booking, such as names and contact information. We process that to build your itinerary and to arrange flights, hotels and activities on your behalf. We share these details with the relevant travel suppliers only to the extent needed to fulfill your bookings. We use your information only to provide the service to you and to operate and improve the product, and we do not sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Information we collect

  • Account information. The email address you provide when you sign up, and any optional details you choose to share, such as your name or home location. We use a short verification code to confirm your email.
  • Trip details and preferences. The destinations, dates, budget and preferences you provide, so we can plan your itinerary and you can return to your trips.
  • Booking and travel data. The traveler and booking information needed to reserve flights, hotels and activities, and the confirmations and itinerary records generated from them.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers; we keep only limited records, such as a confirmation reference, needed to manage your account and bookings.
  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can respond.
  • Analytics data. Aggregate usage information about how the site and product are used, so we can understand which features are helpful and improve the experience.
  • Technical and log data. Standard information such as IP address, browser type, and the page or campaign you arrived from, used for security, fraud prevention and understanding traffic sources.

How we use your information

  • To run the service, including planning your itinerary and arranging flights, hotels and activities with travel suppliers.

We share information only with travel suppliers and gateways needed to fulfill your bookings, such as airlines, hotels, activity providers and global distribution systems, and with service providers who help us operate the product, such as our hosting, AI processing, payment and email delivery providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and our users.

Data retention

We keep your account details, trip details and booking records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, billing and security obligations. You can ask us to delete the information you have submitted at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it, for example to support a completed booking.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest, and we limit who can access it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to collect as little of it as possible in the first place.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct or delete the information you have submitted, and you can opt out of non-essential email at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. To exercise any of these, email us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and site evolve. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
