AXUS Travel App is one of the two itinerary and proposal platforms most US travel advisors end up choosing between, and unlike a lot of travel technology it does publish a price. What it does not do is publish it anywhere you can link to. There is no /pricing page on axustravelapp.com; that URL returns a 404. The numbers live in an anchor section partway down the homepage, between the testimonials and the footer, which is why so many comparison articles about AXUS quote a price with no source or skip the number entirely.

The short answer

AXUS Travel App costs $35 per seat per month with no contract commitment, or $329 per seat per year, which the vendor markets as a 21 percent saving and works out to $27.42 a seat a month. Both plans come with a 14 day free trial that does not ask for a card. DMCs and tour operators are quoted separately, as are consortia members and volume subscriptions. The figure AXUS does not put next to the yearly price is in its own terms of service: cancel an annual prepaid subscription inside the first six months and a 50 percent penalty applies, which on $329 is $164.50, nearly double the $91 a year the annual plan saves you. After six months the refund is prorated instead. AXUS also charges flat per seat, so a solo advisor pays less on AXUS than on Travefy, while at three seats and above Travefy Core costs less and the gap widens with every hire. AXUS Travel App is a division of Northstar Travel Media. TripAgent.ai is not an alternative to it: we write the day by day itinerary and price it, with no client app, no DMC network and no GDS import.

So this page starts with the figures read straight off the vendor's own site in September 2026, then does the part the pricing section leaves out. AXUS sells a monthly plan and a yearly plan and tells you the yearly one saves 21 percent. That is true. It does not tell you what happens if you leave, and the answer sits in the terms of service under Fees and Payments, where a 50 percent penalty applies to annual prepaid subscriptions cancelled inside six months. For a seasonal advisor or anyone trialling a platform switch, that clause is worth more than the discount.

The second half works the arithmetic against Travefy, because AXUS and Travefy charge on structurally different models and the cheaper one flips at a specific team size. Every price below is dated and sourced. Where AXUS does not publish a number, this page says so instead of inventing one.

Why it works

What the AXUS pricing section leaves out

The yearly plan carries a 50 percent exit penalty

The AXUS terms of service state that a 50 percent penalty applies to annual prepaid subscriptions cancelled within six months of purchase, and that cancellations after six months are refunded prorated for the remaining term. On a $329 seat that penalty is $164.50, against an annual saving of $91.

Annual only breaks even after month 10

$329 divided by the $35 monthly rate is 9.4 months. If you are seasonal, hiring on trial, or unsure the platform fits, monthly costs you $91 a seat a year for the right to walk away in any month with nothing owed.

Flat per seat pricing loses to Travefy at three seats

AXUS charges every seat the same $329 a year. Travefy Core charges $39 a month for the first seat and $20 for each additional one. The two lines cross at 2.6 seats, so from three advisors up Travefy Core is cheaper, and by twenty seats the gap is over $1,500 a year.

Three prices are quote only

DMC and tour operator team pricing, consortia pricing and volume subscriptions are all handled by email rather than published. If you are any of those three, the list price on the homepage is not your price and there is no way to estimate yours from the site.

How much does AXUS Travel App cost?

AXUS Travel App costs $35 per seat per month on the monthly plan, or $329 per seat per year on the yearly plan. The monthly plan is described on the AXUS site as having no contract commitments. The yearly plan is described as saving 21 percent over a monthly subscription, and that checks out: twelve months at $35 is $420, so $329 is a saving of $91, or 21.7 percent. Both plans include the same platform and both start with a 14 day free trial that does not require a card.

The word to hold onto is seat. AXUS prices per travel planner, flat, with no cheaper rate for the second or the tenth person. A four advisor agency on the yearly plan pays $1,316 a year. The same agency on monthly pays $1,680. There is no published tier that reduces the per seat rate as the team grows, although AXUS invites teams and consortia members to ask about volume subscription pricing by email.

AXUS plan Per seat Effective per seat per month A team of 6 per year
Monthly $35 a month $35.00 $2,520
Yearly $329 a year $27.42 $1,974
DMC and tour operators Contact us, team based Not published Not published
Consortia and volume Special pricing by request Not published Not published

The $546 a year a six seat agency saves by paying annually is real money for a small shop. It is also the number that makes the next section matter, because the saving is smaller than the penalty for changing your mind.

Is the AXUS yearly plan worth it?

It depends entirely on whether you will still be using AXUS in seven months. The annual plan saves $91 per seat per year. The AXUS terms of service, under Fees and Payments, state that a 50 percent penalty applies to annual prepaid subscriptions if cancelled within six months of purchase, and that a subscription cancelled after six months is refunded prorated for the remaining term. Fifty percent of $329 is $164.50, which is 1.8 times the amount the annual plan saves.

Put the two together and the decision is straightforward. Pay annually if you are an established agency that has already run AXUS through a full booking season and knows it fits. Pay monthly if you are switching from another platform, hiring seats you might not keep, working a seasonal book, or still comparing AXUS against Travefy and Tern. The monthly plan costs $7.58 a seat a month more and buys you an exit with nothing owed.

There is a second break even worth knowing. $329 divided by $35 is 9.4, so the annual plan only starts beating monthly in month ten. An advisor who runs nine active months a year and pauses over the quiet season pays less on monthly even without ever cancelling.

If you cancel in Paid on annual Refund position Versus paying monthly
Month 3 $329 50 percent penalty, $164.50 kept back Monthly would have cost $105
Month 6 $329 50 percent penalty applies within six months Monthly would have cost $210
Month 8 $329 Prorated refund for the remaining term Monthly would have cost $280
Month 12 $329 Term completes, renews automatically Monthly would have cost $420

One more billing detail from the same clause: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each cycle unless you cancel auto renewal through the account management page or by contacting support. Nothing unusual there, but on an annual term it means a missed reminder costs a full year rather than a month.

AXUS vs Travefy: which is cheaper?

Neither, and that is the useful answer. AXUS and Travefy charge on different shapes, so the cheaper platform depends on how many advisors you are paying for. AXUS is flat: $329 a seat a year, every seat the same. Travefy Core on annual billing is $39 a month for your first seat and, in Travefy's own words, every additional seat is just $20 per month. Travefy Premium is $59 for the first seat and $39 for each additional one, and adds business email hosting and a custom domain that AXUS does not offer at all.

Run both lines out and they cross between two and three seats. Solo advisors and two person shops pay less on AXUS. From three seats up Travefy Core is cheaper, and because Travefy prices each extra advisor at $20 while AXUS charges the full $27.42 for every one, the gap grows with every hire rather than staying flat.

Seats AXUS yearly Travefy Core annual Cheaper by
1 $329 $468 AXUS, by $139
2 $658 $708 AXUS, by $50
3 $987 $948 Travefy, by $39
5 $1,645 $1,428 Travefy, by $217
10 $3,290 $2,628 Travefy, by $662
20 $6,580 $5,028 Travefy, by $1,552

Price is not the whole decision and this table should not be read as one. AXUS runs a collaborator network that lets you invite a DMC or overseas planner into the itinerary itself, imports PNRs from a GDS, and carries an accommodation and cruise schedule lookup. Advisors who sell complex custom trips through overseas partners routinely say that network is the reason they pay more. Travefy bundles a CRM, forms, invoicing and a website builder, which suits an advisor running the whole business from one tool. Decide on the workflow, then use the table to know what the workflow costs.

For a wider view of the category, including Tern at $49 a seat a month and TravelJoy, our breakdown of what travel agent software costs prices all five buckets side by side.

Does AXUS Travel App have a free trial?

Yes. AXUS offers a 14 day free trial and states three separate times on its site that no credit card information is required. That is a genuinely open trial, and it is four days longer than the 10 day trial Travefy runs. Nothing in the AXUS terms suggests the trial converts to a paid subscription automatically without a card on file.

Fourteen days is enough to test the thing that actually matters, which is not the feature list. Build one real itinerary end to end, the messiest one on your desk, and see how long it takes compared with your current process. Then publish it to the client app and look at it on a phone. Advisors who churn off itinerary platforms almost always churn because content entry took longer than the old way, not because a feature was missing.

What does AXUS Travel App include for the price?

The seat price covers the full platform rather than a stripped tier. AXUS lists a collaborator network for inviting DMCs and travel planners globally into the itinerary, an internal image library the site puts at over four million images, a custom reusable content library, a Google powered concierge for adding restaurants and points of interest, an integrated global accommodation search, port by port cruise schedule lookup, flight lookup with status, GDS PNR import, vendor and email confirmation parsing through AwardWallet, CRM and API integrations, an advisor web app, an itinerary calendar, a task manager, CSV analytics exports, and E Pages for digital guides and proposals.

Two things sit outside the seat price. A custom branded app in the Google Play and iOS stores is quoted separately, and so is push and pull API access for tech suppliers and developers. Both are contact us items with no published rate, and both are the kind of thing an agency discovers is a line item after it has already budgeted for seats.

The client side is a dedicated mobile app carrying the day by day plan, guides, documents, in app messaging with the advisor, and push notifications when a published itinerary changes. Travelers can view past trips and the advisor profile. The AXUS traveler app carries the advisor logo by default, and a fully custom branded app in the two app stores is a separate purchase.

Who owns AXUS Travel App?

AXUS Travel App is a division of Northstar Travel Media, LLC, stated in the copyright line on its own site and again in the first paragraph of its terms and conditions. Northstar Travel Group is the publisher behind Travel Weekly, Business Travel News and Travel42, which is also the destination content AXUS drops into itineraries with one click.

That ownership is worth knowing for two practical reasons. It makes the travel42 destination guide integration a first party arrangement rather than a licensing deal that could lapse. And it means AXUS is a business unit inside a trade publishing group rather than a venture backed startup chasing growth, which tends to show up as steadier pricing and slower feature releases. The AXUS terms are governed by Illinois law with venue in Cook County.

How much does AXUS cost for a tour operator or DMC?

AXUS does not publish it. The site carries a specific contact route for DMC and tour operator team based pricing, and the request form asks for your company name, whether you are business to client or business to business, your countries of operation, your consortia affiliations and how you heard about AXUS. Those questions are the shape of a quote that varies by volume and business model, so a published number would not have applied to you anyway.

If you are a DMC, the collaborator network is the reason to be on AXUS at all rather than a cheaper itinerary tool: advisors selling your product can pull you into their itinerary directly instead of rekeying your documents. That is a distribution argument, not a software argument, and it is worth raising in the quote conversation. Ask specifically what a seat costs at your headcount, whether the consortia rate applies to you, and what triggers the overage fees the terms mention but never define.

Where TripAgent.ai fits, and where it does not

TripAgent.ai is not an AXUS alternative and this page is not trying to talk you out of AXUS. AXUS is a client facing itinerary delivery platform for professional travel sellers: a branded traveler app, a DMC collaborator network, GDS PNR import, document storage, messaging. We do none of those things. There is no client app, no collaborator network, no GDS connection, no CRM, and we do not book anything.

What TripAgent.ai does is the step before all of that. You describe the trip and it writes a day by day itinerary with a costed budget, which you can then rework and move into whatever tool delivers it to your client. Advisors use it to get a credible first draft of a destination they do not sell every week, and to turn a vague client brief into something concrete enough to quote. It is a flat subscription from $19 a month with no seat minimum, and it sits alongside AXUS rather than replacing it.

If you are a corporate travel buyer rather than a leisure advisor, this is the wrong page. The vendors in that market are Navan, SAP Concur, TravelPerk and the global TMCs, and our corporate travel software pricing pillar covers what they charge.

Good questions

Questions advisors ask about AXUS Travel App pricing

AXUS Travel App is $35 per seat per month on the monthly plan, charged monthly with no contract commitment. On the yearly plan it is $329 per seat per year, which works out to $27.42 per seat per month. Both figures were read from the pricing section of axustravelapp.com in September 2026 and are quoted in USD.
Yes, AXUS offers a 14 day free trial and states that no credit card information is required to start it. The trial covers the platform rather than a limited tier. For comparison, Travefy runs a 10 day free trial, so AXUS gives you four extra days to test a real itinerary before deciding.
Yes, but there is a cost. The AXUS terms of service state that a 50 percent penalty applies to annual prepaid subscriptions cancelled within six months of purchase. After six months the refund is prorated for the remaining term. On a $329 seat that early penalty is $164.50, which is more than the $91 the annual plan saves against monthly billing.
It flips at three seats. One advisor pays $329 a year on AXUS against $468 on Travefy Core annual, so AXUS is cheaper. Three advisors pay $987 on AXUS against $948 on Travefy, so Travefy is cheaper, and the gap grows from there because Travefy prices each extra advisor at $20 a month while AXUS charges the full $27.42 for every one.
Per user, described as per seat or per travel planner. Every seat costs the same $35 a month or $329 a year, with no published volume discount in the standard plans. AXUS does invite teams, consortia members, DMCs and tour operators to request volume or team based pricing by email, but those rates are not published.
Yes. AXUS lists GDS PNR import so you can pull passenger name record details into an itinerary instead of retyping them, plus flight lookup with status updates, an integrated accommodation search, cruise sailing schedules by port, and confirmation email parsing through AwardWallet. AXUS also lists CRM integrations, and it quotes push and pull API access for travel technology suppliers separately.
AXUS Travel App is a division of Northstar Travel Media, LLC, the publisher of Travel Weekly, Business Travel News and Travel42. That is stated in the copyright line on the AXUS site and in its terms and conditions. The travel42 destination guides that AXUS inserts into itineraries come from the same corporate group.
Because there is not one. axustravelapp.com/pricing returns a 404. The prices are published in an anchor section on the homepage, below the testimonials, which is why many comparison articles about AXUS either quote no number or quote one without a source. The figures on this page were read from that homepage section in September 2026.
Two things sit outside the seat price and one is undefined. A custom branded app in the app stores and push and pull API access are both quoted separately with no published rate. The terms of service also reference overage fees billed monthly in arrears without defining what triggers them, so ask that question directly before signing a team contract.
On price, yes: a single seat is the one team size where AXUS beats Travefy, at $329 a year against $468. Whether it is worth it depends on whether you sell complex custom trips through DMCs and overseas partners, which is what the collaborator network is for. A solo advisor booking mostly cruise and all inclusive resorts is paying for capability they will not use.
