Refund policy
Once a TripAgent.ai plan is paid for, the payment stays paid. Three billing faults are the only exceptions. This policy applies to charges made from October 14, 2026.
Your trips are a separate matter
Flights, hotels, rail, cars and activities you book after planning with TripAgent.ai are paid to those suppliers, not to us. Their cancellation and refund rules are the ones printed on your booking. This policy is only about the subscription you pay TripAgent.ai.
What the plan pays for
A TripAgent.ai plan is a monthly or yearly subscription to the planner, with the limits shown on the pricing page. It buys access for the period, not a number of itineraries, so a month without travel costs the same as a month with three trips. Access starts in full the day the period is billed, and you can try the planner on the homepage before paying.
By subscribing you ask us to start the service straight away. Where a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period would otherwise apply, you accept that it ends once the service has begun at your request.
No refund in these cases
- A trip was cancelled, postponed or never booked, including when an airline or a hotel cancelled it.
- A suggested route, price estimate or opening time turned out different on the day. Prices and schedules belong to the suppliers and change without notice.
- You did not plan anything during a paid period.
- You changed your mind or found another way to plan.
- A renewal you forgot to switch off, switched off after it was charged, or that went through after earlier declined attempts.
- You thought the plan was a one-time purchase. Automatic renewal is stated on the pricing page, at checkout, in the confirmation email and in your account.
- A feature or destination detail the pricing page does not describe.
- Choosing the wrong plan or billing period.
- The rest of a period after cancelling. Periods are not split.
- A travel companion or anyone else using your login.
The three exceptions
- Duplicate billing. Our billing charged you twice for one period.
- Unauthorised use of your card, shown by records. You report it within 14 days of the charge, and the account and transaction records back it up. The claim alone is not enough, and we may ask you to confirm that you told your card issuer.
- The planner did not work at all. A confirmed fault on our side made TripAgent.ai completely unusable for a continuous period, you told us while it was happening, and we could not fix it. Slow answers or problems with your phone, browser or connection do not count.
A refund is limited to what you paid for the period concerned, goes only to the card that paid, and ends our liability for that charge. One refund does not open the door to another.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from your account address within 14 days of the charge. Say when you were charged, how much, and which exception applies. Requests sent later or through another route are not reviewed. We answer in the order requests arrive, with no promised response time, and a declined request is not reopened.
Cancelling and renewals
Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel in your account at any moment, without writing to us. Cancelling switches off every future renewal at once, your access continues to the end of the period already paid, and cancelling is not a refund request.
Each new period is due the moment it starts. If your card is declined, the amount is still due and our payment operator retries it over the next days. Those retries settle one unpaid invoice and are not extra charges. Cancelling during them stops later renewals but leaves the started period payable and non-refundable. Cancel before the renewal date in your account to avoid the next charge.
Records we keep, and chargebacks
Signing up means accepting our Terms of Service, which include this policy, and our Privacy Policy. For each subscription we keep the purchase time, the plan and price at checkout, your acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent and an account activity log with sign-ins, trips planned and itineraries saved, along with technical details for each. Our payment operator keeps its own record of every charge, including the card's issuing country, the place the payment came from and the 3D Secure result.
Unauthorised charge claims are checked against these records. Opening a chargeback without contacting us first breaches the Terms of Service, and we then share the records with your card issuer and close the account permanently.
Before this policy
Charges made before October 14, 2026 stay under the refund terms that were in place when they were made.
